Sand casting, also known as sand molded casting, covers over 70% of all metal castings. For sand castings most of the materials are iron, including gray iron, ductile iron. However, because sand casting is relatively cheap and sufficiently refractory, this process can even be used for steel foundry use. Luckily, this is one of the fields what our company Qingdao Evergreen are doing for the world markets. Sand casting is an old process, but we are making it with a new and economic way.
